Step-by-Step Clinical Protocol

1. Cavity Preparation: Prepare the cavity using minimal intervention techniques. Wash and dry gently (do not desiccate). Optional: Apply GC Dentin Conditioner for 20 seconds, rinse thoroughly, and blot dry.

2. Mixing: Dispense 1 level scoop of powder and 1 drop of liquid onto a mixing pad. Rapidly mix the powder into the liquid using a plastic spatula within 20–25 seconds.

3. Placement: Pack the mixed glass ionomer directly into the cavity preparation using a flat-faced instrument within the working time. Avoid air entrapment.

4. Contouring & Setting: Contour the anatomical shape during setting. The material achieves a fast snap-set.

5. Protection & Finishing: Apply a protective coating (such as GC Cocoa Butter or GC G-Coat Plus) over the surface to prevent moisture contamination or drying during initial maturation.
