Clinical Operating Time Guide

Note: Working times are measured at standard room temperature (23°C / 73°F). Higher intraoral temperatures shorten setting times.

Working Time (at 23°C room temp): ≈ 100 seconds to 2 minutes

Working Time (Intraoral at 37°C): ≈ 40 seconds

Chemical Setting Time (Intraoral at 37°C): ≈ 100 - 150 seconds

Light-Curing Time: 20 - 30 seconds

Step-by-Step Clinical Application Protocol

Post Space Preparation: Prepare the post canal space to the desired length and width.

Etching & Rinsing: Etch the root canal space and coronal dentin using acid etchant gel, then rinse thoroughly with water.

Drying: Blot and dry the root canal using paper points.

Adhesive Application: Apply compatible dual-cure dental adhesive into the canal, gently air dry, and light-cure for 20 seconds.

Syringe Setup: Attach a new auto-mix tip to the Nanofil DC Core syringe. Discard a small amount of initial resin extruded from the tip to ensure even mixing.

Injection: Inject the dual-cure core resin continuously from the apical end of the post space upward toward the coronal portion.

Post Placement & Curing: Seat the post immediately. Light-cure the coronal aspect for 20 seconds. Continue building up the coronal core matrix and light-cure all surfaces for 20 - 30 seconds.
